Pima County wants to help businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic ensure the public it is safe to get Back to Business if everyone follows common-sense and scientifically proven protective measures to help slow the spread of the virus in our community. That’s why the Board of Supervisors May 21 adopted operating rules for restaurants, bars, and attractions, as well as gyms, fitness centers, hotel and resorts that operate public or semipublic pools. Following these rules will decrease the chances of the spread of COVID-19 in your establishment. It is not the County’s intent to punish businesses for noncompliance, but to educate owners and operators why it is in their best interest to follow these protective measure requirements. It will help protect you, your vital workforce, and your patrons.
The Ready For You program is more than just a sticker in the window. The County will conduct a large and comprehensive media campaign to make the Ready For You badge easily recognized, and to give the image value – when the public sees it, they’ll know your business is doing all it can to protect its patrons from the spread of COVID-19.
We want you Back to Business.
